Phlebotomy
About the Course
The Phlebotomy course trains students to safely collect blood samples for testing
in hospitals, laboratories, clinics, jails, and prisons. Students practice venipuncture
techniques, patient interaction, and specimen handling procedures.
This program includes 72–88 contact hours, combining classroom instruction with hands-on practice to prepare students for entry-level employment in healthcare and laboratory settings.
Admission Requirements
Participants must be at least 17 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and possess
a high school diploma or GED.
