Wallace State Claims Decisive Victory Over Reid State
Wallace State Community College’s men’s basketball team capped off 2024 with an impressive
                        95-75 win over Reid State Technical College in an away game at the Reid State Gym.
                        The Lions displayed their skill to secure their 12th win of the season.
                     
                     Sophomore guard Kami Young led the charge for Wallace State, scoring 18 points, including
                        six free throws, and adding four rebounds and three assists. Kendarius Anderson contributed
                        15 points with three three-pointers, while sophomore forward Antonio Cochran added
                        14 points and five rebounds to round out the starting lineup’s key performers.
                     
                     Christian Thompson was a force inside, recording another double-double with 10 points,
                        12 rebounds, and three blocks. The Lions' bench also made a significant impact, with
                        Arthur Johnson contributing 13 points and Viczavious Madden grabbing eight rebounds
                        alongside six points.
                     
                     Wallace State controlled the boards, out-rebounding Reid State 49-33, while forcing
                        turnovers and capitalizing with 13 three-pointers. The Lions held a commanding 43-30
                        lead at halftime and maintained their momentum throughout the second half, outscoring
                        Reid State 52-45.
