Women’s Basketball Soars to Victory Over Enterprise State
HANCEVILLE, Ala. — The Wallace State Community College Women’s Basketball team delivered
a dominant performance, defeating Enterprise State Community College 103-26 on Thursday
afternoon at Tom Drake Coliseum.
Sophomore guard Kallie Tinker led the charge with a game-high 20 points, sinking six
three-pointers. Freshman guards Kameron Sanders and Emma Stearns added 14 points each,
with Stearns shooting a sharp 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. Freshman guard Raegan Rickard
contributed a standout all-around performance with 13 points, five rebounds, and seven
assists.
The Lady Lions controlled the game from the start, outscoring Enterprise State 20-8
in the first quarter and holding their opponent to single digits in every period.
Wallace State’s relentless defense forced turnovers and limited Enterprise State’s
scoring opportunities, while the offense clicked with precision, shooting 50% from
the field and 42.9 percent from three-point range.
Wallace State’s bench made a significant impact, contributing 49 points. Freshman
guard Jaden Toney showcased her versatility, pulling down a game-high 10 rebounds
while dishing out eight assists and scoring seven points. The Lady Lions also dominated
the boards, finishing with a 52-16 rebounding advantage.
