Women’s Basketball Dominates Reinhardt JV
HANCEVILLE, Ala. — The Wallace State Community College Women’s Basketball team put
on a stellar performance on Sunday afternoon, cruising to a decisive 74-26 victory
over Reinhardt JV at Tom Drake Coliseum.
Sophomore guard Kallie Tinker led the offensive charge, scoring a game-high 18 points
while sinking six three-pointers. Freshman guard Heather Tetro added 10 points and
two steals, while freshman guard Emma Stearns contributed 12 points off the bench,
including four three-pointers.
The Lady Lions set the tone early, outscoring Reinhardt JV 24-3 in the first quarter
and maintaining their dominance throughout the game. Wallace State’s defense was equally
impressive, forcing turnovers and limiting Reinhardt JV to just 26 total points.
Wallace State showcased its depth, with all 12 active players seeing action and 10
players contributing points. The Lady Lions dominated the boards with a 42-15 rebounding
advantage and tallied 17 assists as a team.
