Wallace State Women’s Basketball Overpowers Wallace-Selma

The Wallace State Community College Women’s Basketball team delivered a dominant performance
                        Monday night, defeating Wallace Community College-Selma 74-42. The Lady Lions showcased
                        their depth and teamwork in a balanced offensive and defensive display.
                     
                     Sophomore guard Kallie Tinker led the scoring with 17 points, hitting five three-pointers.
                        Freshman guard Emma Stearns added 15 points, also connecting on five shots from beyond
                        the arc. Sophomore forward Nylaa Fuller anchored the defense, recording a double-double
                        with 8 points and 10 rebounds.
                     
                     Wallace State’s offense was relentless, shooting 14-for-41 (34.1 percent) from three-point
                        range and tallying 20 assists as a team. On the defensive side, the Lady Lions held
                        Wallace-Selma to just 28.8 percent shooting and forced 21 turnovers.
                     
                     Wallace State jumped to an early lead, outscoring Wallace-Selma 21-9 in the first
                        quarter, and never looked back. With the win, Wallace State improves to 5-0, continuing
                        their impressive season.
