Women’s Basketball Triumphs Over Itawamba
HANCEVILLE, Ala. — The Wallace State Community College Women’s Basketball team secured
another impressive win, defeating Itawamba Community College 63-51 on Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore guard Kameron Sanders led the Lady Lions with 15 points, shooting an efficient
5-for-6 from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. Sophomore guard
Kallie Tinker added 12 points, including four three-pointers, while freshman forward
Sinaya Gibson contributed nine points and four rebounds.

Wallace State shot an impressive 54.5 percent from the field and dominated defensively,
holding Itawamba to just 40 percent shooting while forcing 15 turnovers. The Lady
Lions also shared the ball effectively, recording 12 assists as a team.

The Lady Lions pulled ahead in the second quarter and maintained their lead with consistent
scoring throughout the game. Itawamba’s fourth-quarter push wasn’t enough to overcome
                        Wallace State’s balanced attack.
