Salon and Spa Management Hosting Open House Nov. 21
Hanceville, AL — Wallace State Community College’s Salon and Spa Management program will host an open house on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. at their facilities on the main campus in Hanceville.
The event will allow visitors to meet with faculty, tour the 60-chair hair styling lab, esthetics room, manicure/pedicure room and more. Potential students can learn about both day and evening class options.
“We encourage anyone with an interest in becoming a hair stylist, esthetician or manicurist to attend our open house,” said program chair Sabrina Flanigan. “We are excited to show off our wonderful facilities and will answer any questions you may have about the program or the field of cosmetology.”
Wallace State’s Salon and Spa Management program offers certificate and degree options in cosmetology that can be completed in four semesters. All students are trained by State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering Certified Instructors who prepare all students to take their State Board Licensing exam following the completion of the Salon and Spa Management AAS degree or Certificate.
The Salon and Spa Management building is located near the north end of campus on Francis Dodd Drive. For more information about the Salon and Spa Management program, contact Sabrina Flanigan at 256.352.819 or salonandspa@wallacestate.edu or visit www.wallacestate.edu/cosmetology.
